The Shroud of Turin
Until 2002, the second image was hidden on the back of the cloth known as the Shroud of Turin. This is evidence that the Shroud of Turin isn't a painting. The backside could be viewed after a protective cloth covering it since a 1532 fire was removed in 2002.
Professors Giulio Fanti and Roberto Maggiolo say that there is a second image on the back of the Shroud of Turin. If you looked at the cloth in person, you probably wouldn't see anything. However, with image-processing techniques, the details of a second man's face can be seen. Both faces are unique, as they have "some slight differences." Editor Daniel Porter says, "Imagine slicing a human hair lengthwise, from end to end, into 100 long thin slices; each slice one-tenth the width of a single red blood cell. The images on the Shroud of Turin, at their thickest, are this thin."
So you're probably thinking, "Wow! This is so intense! A second face on the Shroud of Turin? How did these images come about?" Well, I am, too. I learned that Fanti and Maggiolo concluded that the image was made from a corona discharge. This is a bright burst of energy and light, burning the body image on the upper sides of the Shroud. If you want to know more about the Shroud of Turin, read The Shroud Codex by Jerome Corsi.

Solidarity
What is solidarity? Solidarity is a virtue calling us to recognize that we are all one human family. Also, solidarity shows us that our decisions have consequences that can reach worldwide. Solidarity is a large part of our lives. We could not live without solidarity now.
We need solidarity in our lives today. Solidarity gives us a feeling of unity. That is what we should all strive for. The world shouldn't be separated by our cultural or racial differences. We are all human, so do we need to discriminate against people? We can live out solidarity. We can make a difference.
Solidarity can be lived out by anyone. It can be lived out by you, me, Pope John XXIII, or Matt Harding. Pope John XXIII lived out solidarity by striving for social justice, unity, world peace, and human rights worldwide. Matt Harding lived out solidarity when he created his famous video, which you can view on our blog. No matter where he was, Matt brought people together dancing all over different places in the world.
We don't have to be a pope or travel worldwide to live out solidarity. Anyone can live this Catholic Social Teaching by respecting everyone. God created us all in His image and likeness. We may all be different, but everyone is an equal person in the eyes of the Lord.

Rights and Responsibilities of the Human Person
Our rights and Responsibilities are We have the right to help other people that don't have anything like food, water, shelter, or freedom of religion or family life. Every person has a fundamental right to life. This includes the things we need to have a decent life, faith and family , work and education, health care and housing . we also have a responsibility to others and to society. We work to make sure the rights of all people are being protected. The right to exercise religious freedom publicly or privately by individuals . The right to freedom of conscience . In a fundamental way, the right to express your religious belief protects all others rights. Corresponding to these right are duties and responsibilities to one another, to your family and to the society. Some people who studied The rights and responsibilities are Thomas Merton , Charles Carroll , and Pope John Paul the second. Every human has the right to live out there life as a religious person. People have a right to participate in decisions that affect their lives. When people lack the basic necessities to live a life of dignity, their fundamental rights are being denied. People have the right to live out there life how ever they want, people can't force them to tell them how they have to live out there life.

Dignity of Work and Rights of Workers
As humans, we all have a right to good, humane working conditions, productive work and fair wages. There are over one hundreds topics to tag while discussing Right of Workers. Many people th
at pay under the table will try to scam you. With the economy being bad, people out of work, and many other things, people are trying to find any job possible. Many places won't even take applications, which makes making money a big struggle. Without money, it can be very hard for these young families, putting them out on the street. If you look at the topic closely, you will see that it's all just one terrible cycle. One thing leads to another catastrophic thing. Americans are "penny-pinching" all because of this problem with money. When we go to stores, go out to eat, or even just hanging out with friends; we all keep a close eye on the money we spend. When people get everything in life, they don’t see reality of things and how hard it can be for those who don’t just get, get, get. Sometimes, we are so blinded by everything in life it’s hard to see that many people have to work 6-10 hours a day, on minimum wage.

Option for the Poor and Vunerable
Again, as Children of the Lord we are all equal (see Life and Dignity of the Human Person). In this, that means we all deserve respect no matter what. Our society is torn between r
ich and poor, glamorous and not-so-glamorous, and smart and not smart at all. Should this determine how much respect someone gets? What if we add vulnerability or disability? Does that mean they get more or less respect? No, it doesn’t. Yes, the disable and vulnerable usually get high concerns and many people watch out for them, etc. But no one gets more respect than the next. We all have to make up our minds; will I help the man in a wheelchair asking for money to get some food for the night, or will I assume he’s just a panhandler and keep driving in my 2010 Cadillac STX? What should you do…? How do you know if the man is poor, disabled, and vulnerable? Don’t go by if the man looks like he’s being honest. Look at the man, realize he is your brother, and offer him the amount of what you are capable of giving. I’m not saying that when we see someone in a wheelchair we should rush to their rescue, most of the time they are fine. But it truly is a moral test in society nowadays. We go about passing the “test” by putting your priorities aside and seeing how you can truly help the poor, and by paying attention to the silent needs that scream help.
We all walk, talk and act in different ways. We all answer to the call of helping these people in different ways. Will we go out and actually help these people in as many ways as you know how, or maybe even just doing what you think is fair. Many of these people face depressed, and usually their minds are gone. This all means that, while they sit asking desperately for your help, they don’t see that they can go get help. They are so accustomed to poverty and things of that nature. Because of the fact that they don’t see the equal rights (human dignity) they have, it’s very important that we all pitch in and help them. So what we all need to do, is to help them get back on their feet and show them their equal rights again and make sure they have an equal participation in society as all of us. There are millions of Americans that are facing these problems, what can you do to help?

Care for God's Creation
Caring for God's creation is my favorite Catholic Social Teaching. This means more than being loving towards every human. We should also be respectful to everything from tiny fire ants to the large oceans on Earth. There are many ways we can all do something to protect God's creations.
Pollution is a major problem for God's creation of Earth and everyone and everything in it. One way I prevent land pollution is by recycling. Recycling items, such as paper, can reduce the number of trees cut down. Air pollution can be reduced by using cleaner cars that give out fewer harmful emissions. You could also use the less expensive method of riding a bike or walking instead of driving to nearby places. If everyone did these things, the world would be a better place for humans and animals alike.
Animals have a right to be treated fairly. Sadly, many animals are mistreated today. If you stumble upon an injured animal, you should call for help so that the animal can recover and be released (i.e. local humane society, wildlife sanctuary, or veterinarian). We should care for animals' habitats, too. When we clear forests to make buildings or roads, we could be destroying their habitats. Developers should keep some land set aside for animals.
In conclusion, we should all be kind to our planet. St. Francis of Assisi is an excellent example of a caretaker of God's creation. He respected and loved everything that was made by God. So remember: go green and don't be mean!

Life and Dignity of the Human Person
Human life is sacred in many different ways, because of the fact that it is a gift from God. Many o
f us don't see that we are all equal in our own individual ways and that we are all equally human. Human life is under attack in many different ways; abortion, euthanasia, human cloning, and the destruction of human embryos for research. These things are always morally wrong, and we all agree to that, yet they still occur. Many of us have tried to fight against it with as many ways as we know how, but seeing that none have worked... What can we do now? Will anything ever work? How can we help the People being attacked? As Christians and Catholics we are naturally against abortion, the use of death row penalty, torture, and unjust war. The reason we do this is to prevent something like WWII (genocide), to get away from poverty and suffering, and to help end many problems in our world. We all are here to protect and love each other, as we all our one. We are here to protect our brothers and sisters in war, the unborn children, and more importantly our family at home, because we are all children of God.
In my honest opinion, the things that we are doing in this world do not protect human life in anyway. Innocent people are being killed; unborn children are being used for experiments... Yeah, you heard it right; our nation's future generation is being used as experiments? This just isn't right. So you mean to tell me that unborn children are sent to science labs and are used for tests? It just isn't morally right, and it shouldn't be happening. People are researching ways to be cloned, why? Whatever happened to us all being made in God's image and likeness... This in all creates our uniqueness. If anything, we all should appreciate the fact that we are all unique in our own ways, and we don't have an exact replica of us. We all need to learn to appreciate the fact that we are all unique. Before you even say "I thought you said we were all equal", yes, that is true, morally and spiritually we are all equal, but on the outside we are all very unique individuals.
